Pro-active arrest by the York Outer Neighbourhood Policing Team |

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Road Safety Issues, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. Yesterday evening officers from the York Outer Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) searched for, and located a driver believed to be under the influence of drugs. As a result of search efforts the driver and passenger were located and arrested on suspicion of drug driving and drug possession offences. If you know of anyone involved in drug or drink driving or involved in drug crime please contact a member of your local Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) or call 101. Always dial 999 in an emergency.
